Québec 2008 Military Participation
The following activities will be presented by different organizations but will include military participation.
Inaugural Show
Date: 31 December 2007
Description: The festivities marking the 400th Anniversary of Québec City will start with a major stage show coordinated by the Société du 400e Anniversaire. CF will be featured in pre-recorded spots shown on a giant video screen during the show.
Québec Winter Carnival
Date: 1 to 17 February 2008
Description: The military components of the Carnival will be:
- Tug-of-war competition
- Cadet biathlon
- Tribute to Visitors from the Far North.
Canada Pavilion
Date: summer 2008
Description: The concept is to set up a stand in the Canada Pavilion to provide information on the CF with a different focus every two weeks.
Canada Day
Date: 01 July 2008
Description: Expanded CF participation in coordination with Department of Canadian Heritage.
